- Commissions for visual artists responding to the community-decided York Trailblazers, to make each sculpture design unique and representative of the person they celebrate. Call outs for artists will take place in autumn/winter 2023.
- Commissions for five digital heritage experiments: creating key links between past and future craft, linking to York's status as a UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts. Commissions will be released throughout the project, depending on their focus.
- A large-scale public realm sculpture trail, schools' engagement, and a long-term trail legacy to transform areas of York. The trail will be installed in the city in Spring-Autumn 2024.
