York Theatre Royal offers a wealth of workshops, tours and partnership activity across all educational phases. Full details can be found on our website but as an overview:
- Backstage tours exploring the theatre's history, workings and revealing backstage secrets!
- One-off drama-led workshops including: Traditional Tales, Playwriting, Page to Stage, Bringing history to life...
- Partnership work: Become a year-long schools partner, or a Shakespeare Associate school and perform on our Main House stage, or a Playhouse partner and
work on a brand new play for KS2 to be performed in our Studio theatre.
York Theatre Royal works with in partnership with 15 CYC schools throughout the year and we pride ourselves on the quality of the experience for our participants.
