The NCEM has been offering a range of music opportunities for young children for over 20 years. Current projects include partnerships with York Music Forum's Jazz Ensemble, York Music Centre, I Can Play (music-making for D/deaf young people), Lollipop, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Opera North, plus our range of family-friendly activities. We regularly invite school groups to workshop with visiting musicians to the NCEM. Our website contains a range of free digital resources for primary ages children, including the recent 'The Story Orchestra' based on Vivaldi's Four Seasons.
