All Saints North Street is a medieval church in the centre of York with a unique and fascinating collection of stained glass windows in addition to a wealth of other historic features. We can tailor educational tours and workshops to the needs of your group and can cater to all levels from Reception to Postgraduate and adult learners.
Examples of what we can offer include:
- Arts and crafts or creative writing activities inspired by the windows
- RE workshops exploring aspects of past and present worship in the church
- History sessions using the church as evidence of past cultures or exploring buildings / material culture as a source
- Opportunities to discuss features in depth eg. the Middle English Pricke of Conscience poem depicted in one window.
The church is also available for hire as a venue for cultural events such as musical or theatre performances. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
