Christmas Coach Bookings
We’re delighted to welcome you to York for Christmas 2026. Please use the calendar below to book your weekend parking space. These parking spaces are day slots, and cannot be used for overnight stays.
The payment for a coach parking for one day on a weekend is £68 + VAT. Coach booking for the Christmas period (12th November – 21st December) is available for weekend dates only when the coach park is staffed. Weekdays are not available to pre-book, more information and charges are available on the City of York Council website.
Once booked, you will receive a unique ID which you must bring with you on the day. Please check your spam folder if you have yet to receive a email.

Pre-booking is required for:
- 14th and 15th November
- 21st and 22nd November
- 28th & 29th November
- 5th & 6th December
- 12th & 13th December
- 19th & 20th December
Parking can only be reserved for the dates above, weekday parking is subject to standard City of York Council charges – pay at the meter or via the RingGo app first come, first served.
Please note the York Christmas Market is closed on Tuesdays for a weekly rest day.

Parking charges for Union Terrace:
- Coach park open 8.00am – 11.00pm.
- Up to 1 hour: £8.80
- Up to 3 hours – £16.50
- Over 3 hours – £19.10
- Over eight hours – £27.00
If you book a weekend parking slot, we can offer to reimburse weekday bookings on provision of your receipt.
We can’t offer a phone booking service so online booking is advised. If you have any issues, please contact us christmascoaches@makeityork.com.

Due to capacity in York over this busy period, the coach parking spaces are allocated to the Christmas Market event on the dates specified. This means that the Christmas Market charges apply if you would like to park in one of these spaces. Week days will be as normal.
