**LAST UPDATED Feb 2019**
The UK triggered Article 50 of the Treaty of the European Union on 29 March 2017. As set out under that treaty, the UK has two years to negotiate a Withdrawal Agreement and framework for a future relationship with the EU before the point of the UK’s exit from the EU at 11pm GMT on 29 March 2019. Whilst the Government maintains that progress has been significant and they remain confident that a positive deal can be achieved, as the date draws closer there remains a possibility that we may leave the EU without a deal in March 2019 and it is prudent for businesses to prepare for a no-deal scenario.
There are a wide variety of sources of information on this that businesses may wish to familiarise themselves with including a suite of official notices from Government. Whilst we do not endorse any particular view we have provided the following list of links that you might find useful.
Leaving the EU means a number of changes that will affect businesses and individual citizens.
As a business you can find information on some of the actions you can take now to help you prepare here.
The official UK Government EU Exit website contains a wealth of information on how to prepare and the steps you may need to take for businesses, and individuals and can be accessed by clicking the images below.
